Specialists in restoring mobility and returning function.
Specialist physiotherapy delivered at home across Cheshire and Greater Manchester — supporting balance and falls prevention, recovery after surgery, arthritis and joint pain, and neurological conditions such as stroke and Parkinson's. Every programme is built around maintaining the independence and confidence to stay safely in your own home.
Care built around your home
Every session takes place in your own home as standard — no travel, no waiting rooms, no need to be well enough to get out.
Home-based
Assessment, diagnosis, hands-on treatment and rehab — all done in your own space. This is where every plan starts, and where most plans stay.
Gym-based (for active adults, on request)
For patients who want a more active session, or are working toward a return to sport, sessions can move to a gym on request.
Specialist care, at every stage
Every programme begins with a comprehensive assessment — including hands-on treatment where clinically indicated — followed by care tailored to the individual, with the aim of maintaining safe, independent movement at home.
Falls Prevention & Balance
Assessment of balance and fall risk, with a targeted programme to build strength, stability and confidence moving around the home.
Musculoskeletal Assessment
Comprehensive diagnosis for back, neck, shoulder, knee and joint pain — including arthritis — with a clear clinical explanation of findings.
Neurological Physiotherapy
Specialist rehabilitation for patients managing neurological conditions such as stroke or Parkinson's, focused on mobility, safety and independence at home.
Post-Surgical Rehab
Guided recovery following orthopaedic surgery such as hip or knee replacement, with progressive loading and milestone-based reviews.
Chronic Pain Management
Longer-term support for persistent pain, focused on restoring function and confidence in everyday movement.
Strength & Mobility Maintenance
Ongoing programmes to build and maintain strength as you age. We also support active adults and returning athletes on request.

HomePhysio+
Helping older adults stay safe, confident and independent at home.
A physiotherapy practice built on fourteen years' clinical experience across the NHS, private practice and neurological rehabilitation — with a particular focus on supporting older adults with balance, falls prevention, arthritis, post-surgical recovery, and conditions such as stroke and Parkinson's.
No two patients are treated the same way. A programme is built around the individual's needs, their home environment and their goals, with a consistent focus on maintaining the independence and confidence to stay safely where they want to be. (Active adults and returning athletes are also welcome.)
Before you book
Do you treat patients with other health conditions or complex needs?
Yes — assessments take your full picture into account, including other conditions, medications, and mobility aids you already use. If closer liaison with your GP or other healthcare providers would help, we're happy to do that with your permission.
Do I need any equipment at home?
No — most assessments and treatment need nothing more than a bit of floor space and a chair. If a session would benefit from resistance bands or weights, these can be brought along or added to your home routine gradually.
How is this different from a clinic appointment?
Same clinical standard, different setting. You get a full assessment and hands-on treatment without travel, parking or waiting rooms — and sessions tend to run to time rather than being squeezed into a tight clinic schedule.
Do you treat outside the areas listed?
Often, yes — the areas listed are the core coverage zone, but get in touch with your postcode and it's usually possible to arrange something further out.
Will I be pushed into buying a package?
No — recommendations come from the assessment, not the other way round. If a single session sorts it, that's the advice you'll get.
Do I need a GP referral?
No — you can book directly for a private assessment. We also work closely with GPs and are happy to liaise with them on your behalf if that would be helpful.
How soon can I be seen?
We understand that if you've got in touch, you're likely struggling — we'll endeavour to see you as soon as possible, with priority given to acute injuries.
